History and Excellence
Govt. Islamia Graduate College for Women, Faisalabad is one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions for women, established in 1963 as an Intermediate College and later upgraded to Degree and Postgraduate levels. The college achieved remarkable progress with the introduction of B.Sc and B.Com programs in 2011 and BS programs in multiple disciplines in 2016 under the affiliation of GC University Faisalabad. Spread over a vast area, the institution provides modern facilities including science labs, computer labs, libraries, multipurpose halls, and departmental offices to ensure quality education. Today, GIGCW continues to promote higher education, research, innovation, and women empowerment while expanding its academic excellence and infrastructure.

Academic Growth
Affiliated with BISE Faisalabad and GC University, the college offers BS (Hons) degrees in English, Computer Science, Economics, Psychology, and many other disciplines to ensure quality higher education.
Expansion & Facilities
In 2002, 44 Kanals of land were added to the institution. By 2018, a state-of-the-art Science Block was inaugurated to meet the educational demands of the modern era.
