Introduction
The English Department has a pivotal role to play within the college, providing the means for students to reach an advanced level of proficiency in English, as a support subject for other departments. It is one of the largest departments in the college and its aim is to provide all students with the communicative tools they need in order to be successful users of English at an advanced level. Our undergraduate program offers a wide range of subjects to cater to the demands of the modern era, aimed at enhancing not only literary aptitude but also imparting linguistic competence. We strive for positive transformation through tools of literature and linguistics by empowering our women for tomorrow.
